SQL DBA / Application Support Analyst

We are looking for a data guru who has the ability to think on their feet and trouble shoot ad-hoc queries.

The Role:
The environment you will be helping to support covers 8+ sites and around 400+ users. You will be part of a small IT team and will report to the IT Applications Manager.  The majority of the role will be around application support for our ERP system (Microsoft Navision) and other applications, along with SQL database administration.
Responsibilities will include:
• Trouble shooting application support issues
• Writing SQL queries
• Documenting application issues and delivering clear documentation to a third party support team
• Using SQL tools to trouble shoot data issues
• Testing software updates and building test environments
• Working closely with the IT Applications Manager to help manage ad-hoc requests from users around  data/applications  support
To be successful in this role:
• You will have strong SQL skills and enjoy working in and around data
• You will be self-motivated, responsible, and thrive under pressure
• You will have previous application support experience and the ability to understand the complexities of  the data related to the business
• You will have excellent trouble shooting skills and be able to think on your feet
• A successful candidate will have the ability to clearly communicate with a variety of personalities and  business stakeholders
This is a permanent role with additional benefits on top of the base salary.  Some out-of-hours work and travel to other sites required.

Factory Manager – North Island Mussels Limited

North Island Mussels Limited is New Zealand’s largest and most technologically advanced shell-fish processor. Our factory employs approximately 250 seasonal and full-time staff in its new facility in Greerton, Tauranga. We have become one of Tauranga’s ‘employers of choice’ with a large number of our seasonal workforce returning for the 9-10 month processing season each year.
This is a demanding role and not for the ‘faint hearted’. We are offering an immediate start for the successful applicant who demonstrates the following competencies:
• Experience in, and understanding of, complex and efficient production operations;
• Strong analytical capability, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills;

• Ideally you will have a background in the food production industry with knowledge of food safety regulatory requirements,  such as HACCP, for the Ready to Eat (RTE) consumer market.

Deck Hands Required -For Deepwater Freezer Trawlers

If you’re ready to get wet, smell like fish, and stay focused then you should work as a deckhand for Sanford.

Sanford requires Qualified Deck Hands -For their Deep Water Freezer Trawlers based out of Timaru to work trip 2 trips on and 1 trip OFF paid.

Qualifications: ADH-F or NZOW is preferred but we will be considering an applicant if they are able to demonstrate their capability with previous vessel experience.

Good Knowledge of the following is required:

· shoot and haul nets

· operate winches

· process and pack fish

· mend nets and lines

 · splice ropes and wires

Sea going Marine Engineer -For Scampi Freezer Trawlers

Sanford requires sea going Marine Engineers -For their Scampi Freezer Trawlers based out of Timaru to work trip On /trip OFF or similar with an existing engineer.

Qualifications: MEC4 or DTE 1 is preferred but MEC 5 & 6 will be considered if applicant is suitable and able to demonstrate capability commensurate with duties.

Good Knowledge of the following is required:
• Main engine 
• Auxiliaries 
• Electrical systems
• Hydraulics and normal engineering systems for fuel management
• Freezer refrigeration
